Wheelchair
Clinic The wheelchair clinic team at JFK Johnson Rehabilitation Institute specializes in assessing individuals for wheelchair seating needs and making recommendations for customized seating, including manual or power wheelchair mobility. The wheelchair team consists of a physician specializing in rehabilitation medicine, an occupational therapist and a medical equipment vendor representative. Referrals may be made for outpatients, as well as for patients who are being cared for in local health care facilities.
