Research Coordinator: Overseeing data collection and submission to national
data collection site, identifying and enrolling appropriate participants.
Co-Investigator: Local project - "Investigating the Utility of Functional
MRI in Assessing Cognition, Predicting Outcome and Planning Treatment in
Minimally Conscious (MCS) Patients"
Principal Investigator: Cognitive Special Interest Group project - studying the
feasibility of administration of a brief neuropsychological test battery at one
month post-onset of TBI; development of a composite index or subset of test
scores to measure the severity of cognitive difficulty following TBI; and the
contribution of cognitive deficits to length of stay and hospital charges for
treatment of TBI.
