Speech-Language Pathologists
JRI's speech-language pathologists assist patients who have difficulty with communication, cognitive function or swallowing. These impairments can result from a variety of causes including stroke and brain injury.
Speech-language therapy focuses on the patient's understanding, thought processes, speech and communication skills. Our speech-language pathologists also work on making swallowing safer by recommending appropriate food consistencies and eating techniques.
