Jonathan P. Quevedo, M.D.

Dr. Jonathan Quevedo received his medical degree in 1980 from Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York. He completed his Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation residency at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center, serving as Chief Resident during his last year. He is fluent in English and Spanish.

Dr. Quevedo is board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and also in Pain Medicine, and has spent much of his time and practice in chronic pain management. One of his areas of special interest is pain of the head, neck region, headaches, facial pain, and fibromyalgia. Dr. Quevedo also performs sphenopalatine blocks, a procedure which has been very successful for these types of painful conditions, and is training the residents in this useful technique.

Another of Dr. Quevedo’s areas of interest is Parkinson Disease. He has developed a Parkinson Clinic for patients to be assessed by a rehabilitation medicine physician and a therapist. He is also Co-director of the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) Clinic.

Dr. Quevedo frequently gives lectures on rehabilitation medicine at area hospitals. He is also a volunteer speaker for the American Heart Association and involved in charity endeavors which include an annual medical mission to Honduras.
