Dr. Didier Demesmin is certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology and has subspecialty certification in Pain Medicine.
He graduated from Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, where he received the prestigious award for Academic Excellence in Anesthesiology from the Department of Anesthesiology. He then completed an internship in Obstetrics and Gynecology at St. Vincent's Hospital in New York, NY and a residency in Anesthesiology at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY.
After finishing his residency program, he expanded his interests and knowledge in Pain Medicine by completing an Interventional Pain Medicine Fellowship Program at Columbia University, College of Physicians and Surgeons/St. Luke's - Roosevelt Medical Center in New York, NY.
Dr. Demesmin is affiliated with some of the finest hospitals in central New Jersey, including St. Peter's University Hospital, JFK Medical Center, and Muhlenberg Regional Medical Center. He has lectured at regional, national, and international Pain Medicine venues. He has provided a number of presentations and Grand Rounds to physicians, and has been an instructor of numerous cadaver courses for Interventional Pain Medicine procedures and techniques. In addition, he had been a preceptor to college students, medical students, residents, and Pain Medicine fellows.
Dr. Demesmin was chosen to be an honored member of the Cambridge Who's Who Executive and Professional Registry for his accomplishment in the field of Pain Medicine. He is a member of the American Medical Association, the American Society of Anesthesiologists, the American Academy of Pain Management, the New Jersey Medical Society, and the Middlesex County Medical Society.
