Specialized Clinics
JRI's Pediatric Rehabilitation Department in central New Jersey offers therapeutic pediatric treatment through several on-site specialty clinics. These clinics bring together teams of pediatric specialists including physicians, therapists, psychologists and social workers to coordinate comprehensive care for each child. Consultations are available to supplement rehabilitation and encourage support at home and in school, family and day care.
- The Pediatric Neurology/Neurodevelopmental Medical Clinic offers diagnosis, evaluation, treatment and follow-up care for children with medical, genetic or neurologically based delays and disabilities.
- The Muscular Dystrophy Clinic offers evaluation and medical and developmental monitoring of children by a transdisciplinary team under the leadership of a pediatric physiatrist. Home and school evaluations and consultations optimize independent functioning.
JRI's specialized pediatric services are funded, in part, by Special Child Health Services and the New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services.
