At the JFK Johnson Rehabilitation Institute in central New Jersey, our mission is to provide quality rehabilitation that will assist adults and children living with disabilities to obtain optimal function and independence within an accepting community. Our continuum of care, provided at our facility in Edison, NJ and other facilities throughout New Jersey, assures patients of an integrated, personalized program that facilitates the recovery process. It also supports a program that is individualized to meet the unique needs of patients and their family members.

Our complete array of rehabilitation services encourages family participation: the family is an integral part of the team. Throughout the rehabilitative experience, family members are also assisted in understanding the disability through supportive counseling and education. These services assist family members in the adjustment during the recovery process and enhance the quality of life for the patient.
