Parkinson's Disease
The Parkinson's Disease Clinic at the JFK Johnson Rehabilitation Institute (JRI) in central New Jersey offers a multidisciplinary approach to the treatment of Parkinson's disease.
The Parkinson's Disease Clinic is held in NJ once a month throughout the year. Services consist of examination, testing, and counseling performed by a physiatrist and physical, occupation, and speech therapists. A social worker and RN will also assist as appropriate in assessing the patient and family's needs.
After establishing the diagnosis and treatment plan, the patient is monitored two to three times a year through follow-up clinic visits.
