JRI's Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) Clinic provides a multidisciplinary approach to the diagnosis and treatment of more than 40 muscular dystrophies. At our monthly adult and pediatric clinics, examination, testing and counseling is performed by a physiatrist and physical, occupational and speech therapists. A social worker and registered nurse also assist in assessing the needs of the patient and his or her family.

After establishing the diagnosis and treatment plan, the patient is monitored two to three times a year through follow-up clinic visits. Transportation is provided to and from clinic appointments.
