Referrals |

Referrals and requests for evaluation and therapy services are made by contacting the Intake Coordinator at the department's main number at (732) 548-7610. Referrals to the You & Me School for children with autism and PDD are directed to Nicole McDowell,
L.S.W., at the above number. The intake process includes determining the nature of the child and family needs, reviewing past developmental and medical history and obtaining insurance information. Preauthorization is generally required for all services. Once determination is made regarding benefits, scheduling of evaluation and/or treatment will be completed. Prescriptions are required for physical, occupational and speech therapy evaluation and treatment services. Services are available Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
